Role summary: 

The Sample Courier Tech will be responsible for the transportation of samples between Modesto and Tulare daily. This position must ensure timely and safe delivery of samples to Tulare for analysis.

What you’ll do:

• Transportation of samples between Modesto and Tulare daily.
• Manage the daily receipt and preparation of samples.
• Identify, label, wash, process, and store samples.
• Assist clients submitting samples; screen submission forms and obtain any missing information necessary for processing. 
• Ensure sample size and quality requirements are met for correct analysis.
• Enter all incoming samples into LIMS database.
• Prepare samples for shipment to Tulare.
• Help keep laboratory work areas clean and organized.

What you have: 

• High School Diploma or GED 
• A clean driving record with the ability to manage time wisely. 
• Relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team. 
• Positive outlook with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn.

Physical Demands:

• Sitting in the car for extended periods of time.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Regularly lift 15-30 lbs.

Travel 

• Daily driving between Modesto and Tulare.
